WELCOME TO THE OMICRON CHAPTER OF BETA UPSILON CHI

Beta Upsilon Chi, Brothers Under Christ, BYX is the largest Christian social fraternity in the United States. Since its founding in 1985, BYX has spread across the country. Mississippi State's chapter was founded in 2005 as the Omicron Chapter.

The fraternity exists to "establish brotherhood and unity among college men based on the common bond of Jesus Christ."

The men of BYX at Mississippi State meet weekly for chapter meetings and cell groups- the backbone of accountability among the men of BYX. They also participate in service projects around the Starkville community, go on retreats each semester, have socials and date parties, and play university intramural sports.

The fraternity's founding Scripture is Psalm 133:1, "Behold how good and pleasant it is for brothers to dwell in unity!"
